The gist of the Middle TN Home Sales Report published by the prestigious Chandler Reports covers the real estate trends over the year ended on 31 October, 2015 of Davidson, Williamson, Wilson and
Davidson County experienced a rise of 1% this October in home sales compared to October 2014. However, the average sales prices and the home sales for the year-to-date showed a significant increase of 14% and 13% respectively. While Antioch recorded the most number of home sales for the month with 160 sales, Green Hills recorded the highest average sales price of $563,249 across 73 sales. Home sales over $1 million were up by 28% compare to the previous year.
The statistics revealed that home sales for the month of October was static compared to the previous year. Besides, Rutherford County has only experienced a 16% and 7% increase in the fields of home sales and sales prices during the year-to-date. Murfreesboro grabbed the most number of home sales title for the month with 158 sales and Mount Juliet grabbed the highest average sales price title with $354,500 across 3 sales. Home sales over $300,000 had gone up by 17% from October 2014.
Williamson County showed some promising figures with a 10% increase in home sales for the month compared to last October. Nevertheless, when considering year-to-date home sales and average sales prices, the county showed a mere 12% and 4% rise respectively. Franklin West claimed the highest number of sales for October with 150 sales while Brentwood claimed the highest average sales price of $692,635 across 90 sales.
This October was not a prosperous month compared to last October in home sales for the county since Wilson experienced a 7% drop in home sales. However, year-to-date sales reported a slight increase in both the categories, home sales and average sales prices, with an increase of 9% in the former and 7% in the later. Mount Juliet secured the most number of home sales title for the month with 146 sales.
